-Hmmm…. the squirrel didn’t create the tire swings. So the only part of the situation that is ‘his’ is the tree. Now, he may be responsible for the tree if it grew from an acorn he buried. But the tree could just as likely have grown from a sapling that Jimbo or Rose planted. And if it’s on acreage that Jimbo and Rose own, they have to trim and maintain the tree (or code enforcement will get ’em.)-So, at best, the squirrel is a squatter….
