Sure, 99.99% of climate scientists must be wrong, or be part of the Bavarian Illuminati, the Erisians, or under the sway of the Gnomes of Zürich.

There’s a class on my campus that spends a whole semester discussing global warming (or climate change, whatever you want to call it now) and whether or not it actually exists. I’ve never taken the class, but I once had a class that took place right after it, as the global warming class is filing out, and someone asked the professor for said class as he was leaving if the class could decide on an end verdict. He admitted it was “inconclusive.”

Personally, I think if global warming IS real, it’s probably going to happen whether we like it or not.

The level headed scientists agree that there is an overall rise in the global temperature. What they argue about is how much we are having an effect on it. Basically, some think that humans are adding to the rise by 30% and the others say by 70%. All are willing to agree that humans aren’t the sole cause.

Thousands of cattle lost in northern states last fall due to an early unexpected blizzard.Old news.If they’d been lost to a heat wave, the news media would still be hashing it over!(Wfhen I was in school, we were being told to look out for the next ice age!)

Re Freon – harms Ozone.Isn’t Freon heavier than air?Isn’t Ozone a chief component of smog?If Freon is so harmful to Ozone in upper atmosphere, why doesn’t it attack Ozone in smog?

climate change is not just global warming from the melting ice caps. But stronger and larger storms and changes in the overall weather patterns.Yes, Scifi was a good station, when it became SyFy 90% of the new shows are un-watchable. To much reality TV and not enough scifi content that we wanted

Sharks would have a difficult time breaking through the ice.

Yes – agreed that southern Hemi is baking – but uncertain how this averages out. It’s just that all; doomsday predictions have proven wrong, at least so far!
