Sunny: what is this Pop-pop?
Frank: A reel to reel film projector!
Sunny: Its so futuristic!
Frank: Actually its very old.
JOJO: I call dibs on the remote!
It was kind of picturesque when my husband would set up his jerry-built darkroom with the vinegary odors and even try to develop color film (didn’t really work), and give slide shows during which the projector was always jamming or skipping slides. I think he likes the new way better, though.

Nothing beats the warmth and vibrancy you get from actual grainy and scratched film. Not like the sterile and flat video you get from DVD.
