It does NOT mean we don’t get cold days. It CAN mean that we get more extremes — which is exactly what was predicted, folks.In fact, one apparently paradoxical finding is that we should have more BIG snowfalls when they fall, because warmer air carries more water, and when it drops as snow there is more of it. However, we should get FEWER snowfalls because it averages warmer. That means it goes to a few big snowfalls a year in appropriate climates. Guess what we’re getting? Yep.It’s complicated, guys, but try to keep up instead of thinking that you are poking holes in a sophisticated and evidence-backed theory with a single cold snap.
Just LOVE the fact that deniers can’t distinguish “climate” from “weather”. If I called Columbus last Monday, and asked what the “climate” was like, I’d get _30 wind chills and snow. So don’t move there, it’s miserably cold and windy all year!

Actually, not the same extremes, though there have been extremes one way and the other, that’s different from extremes both ways.I saw a study recently that suggested the extra-cold weather the Massachusetts Bay Colony (read: Pilgrims) experienced was because so many Native Americans had died of European diseases — some estimates range as high as 90% of the North American population — that the land had reforested significantly, which meant more dark leaves to absorb sunlight and CO2 and reduce the greenhouse effect. And there are always natural cycles TOO.
