MARY WORTH: @*Arye* – I agree. But the perspective is a bit odd – Mary looks like a midget in silhouette. If she does get clipped by the car, she will be staying in NY a while for sure – in the hospital. JUDGE PARKER: I gather the Saudi prince prefers blondes (as I recall, the prince appeared in a previous JP/April story). MARK TRAIL: Well, I knew an animal was going to help Mark find the buried artifacts, but I thought (and predicted) it was going to be Andy. I guess I was half right.PHANTOM: Lara casts her eyes on the Phantom in the purple attire… PRINCE VALIANT (Sunday strip): Val races blindly toward the Phantom in the purple attire…. (I forgot to read the PV strip yesterday).ALLEY OOP: As Ooola is carried over the border, the signposts point back toward Moo and forward toward Lem. I was quite fascinated to learn that the names Moo and Lem are references to the fabled lost continents of Mu and Lemuria. I have, of course, heard of Atlantis – but didn’t know about Mu and Lemuria. Lemuria
Mandrake – The alien is wearing a universal translator, which translates his thoughts into the words of the listener. It’s a very common convention in science fiction. BTW, this is the first time that the frog creatures have been referred to as aliens.Alley Oop – Good catch, Florchi. I remember it took me years to figure that out when I was a teenager. Keep reading this strip and someday, you’ll become an avid fan like me.
Mary Worth – this happened to me a few years ago as a friend and I were walking to a baseball Cardinals game at Busch stadium. A homeless dwarf was walking with us, we’d already ignored his asking for money. He kept me from stepping off of the curb into the path of a car. My friend gave him money afterwards.
Mary Worth – This strip engender 62 comments at comic kingdom, e.g., Ken is pushing her, Jeff is driving the yellow car, hoping for the end of this strip. If Ken saves her, she will be more devoted to him. If she is injured, Jeff may fly to NYC to take care of her resulting in a showdown of this triangle.Judge Parker – What about Katharine and the snake?Rex Morgan – My previous Q is answered. Hal Willis is their attorney, looking over Sarah’s contract so we’re back to that story line.Mandrake – “Nkkk, nyet, no”. Does the negative in every language begin with “n”? And children learn to say it so easily! Any relationship?Phantom – The GWW myth is the more interesting story, but will she be allowed to tell it?A3G – I think Margo looks terrible in the second panel. Hair that length couldn’t be put in a bun (which is considered a sophisticated do), Tommy just got back – where is she going now?

Phantom: Lara’s not interested in the Bandar now that she seen the GWW. She better watch out for Dianna.
Rex Morgan: Now we are on a different story line.
Mark Trail: The bear couldn’t have been to hungry if Mark scared him off by walking towards him.
Mary Worth: At least it looks like we are going to see some action.

REX MORGAN: There’s a whole slew of plots in the last few days’ strips.
MARY WORTH: It doesn’t look as if Mary stepped off the curb.
APT3G: Margo looks sexier in her “nighhtie” hairdo than when she has an oldmaid bun.

I didn’t get three of my favorites this morning – Endtown, Lost Side of Suburbia, and Ozy and Millie.
