I don’t like it that the children are all of a sudden being dis respectful to not only their teacher but also to their grandmother. I do however realize this is a cartoon but I prefer to see children being respectful even in a cartoon.

Nah, you don’t smack ’em, you just institute consequences for being a snit. and when they say “what did I do wrong?” You say “You know DARN WELL what you did wrong” And they do.

Oh boy.

The one thing my dad wouldn’t allow was my being snippy or sassy, as he called it, to my mother. Only got swatted once, lightly, but his glower was enough to shape me up. The longer you let it go on the more ingrained it becomes.
