When I was a child, my father would go out almost every Sunday and get donuts. I got so sick of them that even now I really have to be in the mood for donuts, which is rarely.
In ancient times, when I was young, my sister & I would go (after Church) to the local bakery & buy a dozen freshly-made sugar donuts. Cost: 50 cents!!!!! I TOLD you it was ancient times; now you’re lucky if you can buy ONE for the same amount!!!!!
What astonishes me is that Jon managed to convince Garfield to make donut fasting his New Years Resolution! You would have thought that Garfield never would have agreed to it!

Everyone seems a bit confused about Garcon, it’s a French word and meant “waiter” so Garfield is just saying “waiter, another dozen!”
And gosh there’s nothing like a freshly made donut! I could possibly eat a dozen if I let myself lol
