The city where I was living at the time had a volunteer fire department…the siren blew one tone for in town…one for out of town…and one for tornado/disaster. On the day of my wedding, a wire got crossed, and the disaster siren blew…that SHOULD have told me something…but it didn’t!!!

I could still go tuna “fishing” if I were a mind to. -If I wanted to do the text thing I would learn courtroom steno shorthand. -I’m sure I had silly beliefs as a kid, like pressing the metal ‘bud’ on a desk lamp base causing something really bad to happen. -Is monitorer a real word ? -A lovely weekend…. that would be a change ! They’re usually just run of the mill.________________________________________________I can’t help wishing that Andy Capp would be busy like Ballard Street is but never mind. We do have our busy days sometimes where we reach over 100 comments.-How did you know that I’m a secret agent?! I’m the youngest at the agency…-You seem to do the complete words, punctuation stuff too. I’ve seen many Cappers do that. I find it easier to read and understand, that’s another reason why I do it that way myself.-I don’t think that “Monitorer” is a word at all. I thought it didn’t sound right. I think “Observer” would have been better. -If you can’t have a “lovely” weekend then at least have a “decent” one instead.

As I read through the comments, I saw Gweedo’s so I can only gather that no one has heard anything from or about Linda. She is in my prayers, as is Linquist. I am an only child, I can’t even imagine the pain he is going through now.

Hi affie! I hope you and Connie are well. To answer your question from the other day, What time is the comics turnover here, the last I stayed up for it, used to stay up all the time, it was at 1:10 am. I find I can’t and won’t stay up that late anymore for it. Does the excuse “gittin” too old for dat" count as a good excuse? :-D
