Ya wanna feel strange? I have a strand of lights on the front porch railing, and a lighted wreath on the window. My house is the only one on the block – both sides of the street – with any Christmas lighting.
There is a house by us that has a blow-up snowman that has it’s hands up and looks like it is shrieking. Next to it is a blow-up dog with it’s leg lifted. I have to admit – I laughed.
There are people around here who never put their outdoor decorations away after the season. Some have never re-lit their lights after the first time..We have a sign in the window that reads, “BAH HUMBUG.”

This year we put in solar. Next year outdoor lights. So there, SDG&E!!
