MIchael, as “semi-correction”? The filibuster still stands regarding LEGISLATION. While Bork is the “poster boy” for Republicans protesting the filibuster, he doesn’t come close to matching the over 400 times the “process” has been used to block Obama’s legitimate authorities.

You say “Barack Obama has made a step toward mob rule.” How so? Because the Senate made a change to its rules? Explain to me how that qualifies as mob rule? Where was the mob?

I agree that (some) minorities should be protected. But I don’t see that minority rule is an improvement over majority rule.

The Dems caved. There is no doubt that if your party were ever to gain the Senate again (and never will), they would completely end the filibuster instantly. And you know that.
