Only 1 year away!Democrats have proven themselves as worthless to the American people.Even co-workers of mine who were some of the biggest Obama supporters, are now sick and tired of him and his policies.I went from the minority in the office against Barry to now the majority opinion. Now that’s change we can Believe In!
MIchael, as “semi-correction”? The filibuster still stands regarding LEGISLATION. While Bork is the “poster boy” for Republicans protesting the filibuster, he doesn’t come close to matching the over 400 times the “process” has been used to block Obama’s legitimate authorities.
You say “Barack Obama has made a step toward mob rule.” How so? Because the Senate made a change to its rules? Explain to me how that qualifies as mob rule? Where was the mob?
Jeez, what a bunch of ignorant crap. Is Obama the head of the Senate? When the Democrats filibustered TEN lousy bush nominees, the republicans threatened to do away with the filibuster. The Dems caved. There is no doubt that if your party were ever to gain the Senate again (and never will), they would completely end the filibuster instantly. And you know that.
^Gresch: which of course was the exact reason the Senate was created by the founding fathers, notably those from less populated states. Of course the “right” has tried to turn it into the House of Lords to protect the top 1%.

They are NOT BANNED! They just restored limits that used to exist on the process.

I agree that (some) minorities should be protected. But I don’t see that minority rule is an improvement over majority rule.
