I remember the day well. A friend I met much later was in the Secret Service. With the nut cases we have out there today, and the even greater access to much more powerful firearms than the one Oswald used, right, left, or if ever Libertarian or true “centrist”, open cars, or simply “meet and greet” with a pressing of the flesh by notables with “the public” scares the crud out of them. It isn’t just POTUS, but the others our security people are out there to protect. BTWE: with the recent “flamboyance” of the critical media, we owe these folks our respect, even if they DO show up as human on occasion. Stiffing a whore is not starting a war, after all.
