I remember some one on some thing else trying to make up new punctuation but I forget the details. but yes its nice how mom rather then be offended or find this at all strange just goes with it and gives her opinion Though I do wounder if magical creature have question marks, explanation points and periods? . Well we know Goblins have umlauts.

@Omega Dragotroid: To say nothing of Ms. Mudd’s cheerful acceptance of her daughter’s idiosyncrasies. (I’d just bet she and Phoebe’s mom would have some interesting conversations… :D )

A checkmark would work just as well.

The British (and possibly other Europeans) and mathematicians would both smile at Phoebe’s new use for an established symbol (“symbol recycling?”); The British use that “half-height dot” as a decimal point in numbers (they may use it less commonly today; some countries use the comma as a decimal marker). The “half-height dot” is also sometimes used instead of an “X” as a multiplication symbol in mathematical expressions.

I like that symbol, I think it would work well for what Phoebe is describing.

Are you sure you were texting with Marigold, and not Horace from Dark Side of the Horse? This sounds like something that would be right up his alley.

It looks like a lop-sided question mark. Kind of like “I think we had tacos?”

Then what about your real name mam or this family’s last name? I don’t know what Phoebe’s last name is?

Maybe we should start using z. as an emotacon in our text messages.

Please! In Scotland, “z” already has to serve double duty as “ȝ”, as in “Culzean Castle” and “Dalziel and Pascoe”. (In England, “ȝ” mostly became “y” as in “day” or “gh” as in “knight”.)

@ DanaAbout the latest posting on Nostril Sketches.I don’t know about the cover, but the last page should be Phoebe sleeping on Marigold’s flank.
