Despite the attribution of Francis Bacon as the artist, it was actually painted by William Shakespeare.
If I heard right, this trio was only painted in 1969, hardly “old master” material. But Pollack’s also brought lots of money from folks with money to burn. At least you can DRIVE a new Ferrari! (and buy 142 of them for that price!)
