but I wanted to say that I was sincerely touched by mgscott’s confidence in me …. sniffle…. Alas, I have to admit that it was misplaced.

Someone had explained to me about Hank Williams Junior and Monday night football….

And WHAT the heck was that white thing on the floor? It looked like a piece of picket fence on a brown stick, with a red handle.

Never heard of it, but after I read your comment, I Googled “d fence sign” and saw pictures.

I am completely clueless abut sports….I’m glad I said it looked like a fence and not a venetian blind.
