Good morning, Vagabonds Yesterday I tread water in the pool for an entire hour. I felt good after that. I also finished reading “From Beirut to Jerusalem” and began to read “Herodotus the Persian Wars.” It starts off rather lively..
Good morning Vagabonds..They keep threatening use with an ice storm Sat. night in to Sun. Step out the door, “aaarrrggghhh” splat..One more day then the Solstice tomorrow. Solstice party anyone? :-).Well, guess I’ll settle in and wait for the storm to pass..Have fun all..ttfn
OMG!!!! We are back in CA, and the TRAFFIC is absolutely TERRIBLE!!!! People all over, cutting you off, tail gating, speeding, just over all huge amount of cars and inconsiderate drivers! UGH!
Saw part of the family yesterday, and today I’m going back to visit old buddies where I retired from. Should be really fun.
Last night we had a “party” at a great Jewish Deli…….and had wonderful pastrami…….really great! That will tide me over for the next 6 months or so. :))
Rita, I was surprised just how quickly we got used to lighter traffic here in Nevada and how overwhelming the Southern California traffic can be, even though I grew up with it. I waved back when you drove through yesterday about noon.
We were supposed to get a winter storm this weekend, but today the sun is out after two days of overcast. Go figure.
Beautiful day today, temp about 50 and all the ice and snow melting. Sat. and Sun. are supposed to be near 50 with rain, so that should hasten the melting.
@dkram: Hope the storm goes around you or it goes by fast.
