I don’t understand the conflict between the GOP and the TEAsers. Don’t the Koch Brothers own both?-Or does Charles own one and David the other?

What Clay means to point out is that the disaster would have been limited had more States set up their own exchanges. Republican controlled states declined the state based exchanges, arguably a disservice to their uninsured citizens. Democratically controlled states, such as my neighbor to the south, Kentucky, established exchanges. I understand the implementation of the ACA has gone quite well there.

The American subsidiary, CGI Federal, wrote the program. It was tested, but obviously not enough.

Enough to get it right. (This is too easy.).CGI Federal also set up the internet market place for Hawaii and Colorado, which are reported to be running smoothly.

Clay makes a good point. The entire process could have begun at least a year earlier.

Tigger, you should attempt to read the cartoon before whining about it. The cartoon says that once we got past all of the irrational Republican obstruction, we now have a maze on the computer itself. And yes, if you live in a blue state, you’re fine. All of the states were supposed to set up their own exchanges (a gift to Republicans, who like that sort of thing) but the Republicans rejected it out of spite.
