Well, let’s see — the lowest spending and biggest deficit cuts in over half a century, yes. But we’ve left them a legacy of rightwing lies that is also the greatest seen since the days of Joe McCarthy. They’ll have to overcome that before they can do anything sensible about the budget.
that’s why the GOP lets Big Oil take oil & gas from Public Lands (that’s taxpayers) for free instead of paying royalties into the treasury. Every GOP Rep. has voted to let them steal (taking w/o paying) for years, but claim they are concerned about the debt!
Yep, and I heard again this morning that revenue increases are completely off the table. If you can’t support closing tax loopholes, then you cannot claim that debt, jobs, and deficits are your “highest priority.” Maybe we just need to kick the can far enough to remove the tea party majority from the house.
