I think that whole “hair thing” is getting out of hand. Soon, they’ll have to put the players’ names on the back of their pants.I’d like to see the defense make better use of the additional tackling areas.
I don’t remember what game it was, but a ball carrier was tackled by pulling his hair. The defense wasn’t flagged b/c the hair is not part of the uniform. I’m surprised that doesn’t happen more often.

@yatinexile. Really? I have always assumed that there was a rule about tackled by hair because all NFL defenders appear to avoid it

I thought Troy Polamalu had his hair like that cause he’s Hawaiian..surprised Tank McNamara hasn’t done a tribute to Bum Phillips and Bud Adams
