I agree with rayannina, Annie would have Tad pegged in a nanosecond! That wouldn’t go over well at all (although it would be hilarious).

..Besides,do we really know that Tad is such a bad person that cheats..he was snot slinging drunk when he hit on Lila…it’s a cliché/stereotype to have him continue cheating…once a cheater always a cheater..but did he cheat or make a bad one time decision?I am guessing the former..but can I be sure…

Annie doesn’t know Drew…plus not only will she see through Tad, she’ll also speak her mind about him and Drew’s decision to marry him! It would be funny! Wow, Mr. Forgetta, decisons, decisions…

So true, Arsmall, but since I’m several weeks ahead of you, some of these decisions have already been made ;-) Happy Friday!

Whether Lila can adopt Annie depends on the laws of the state Cleveland is in. Up here in Alberta, I know of several single people that have adopted children.

The question is of course can Lila afford Annie. In the state Cleveland is in, does the state cover the medical bills for minors? All I ever hear about United States health care is that you have to mortgage your great-grand children just to see a doctor.

I agree with Boyd - it IS a great idea. Drew and Tad could give Annie the home, security, medical benefits that Lila never could - AND Lila would still be in the picture providing Annie a perfect target for all the slings and arrows she has to toss.

i’m sure annie already knows about tad the cad, and she is very outspoken with her feelings.

I love love today’s strip! The expression on Lila’s face when Drew makes her suggestion is priceless. I’ll bet Drew and Boyd have come up with this tactic to make Lila realize what she wants to do!

It would be a really cool, new dimension for the strip, but it has to be Lila who adopts Annie.
