Later, I discovered most car reviews, including large magazines, kind of gave favorable reviews of automobiles. Motor Trend’s Car of the Year, has about half the time, turned into junk within a few years. I can think of several, from each of the domestic car companies, before and since "domestics competed with imports. Hey the Hondas Civic and Accord have more US content than many domestics, especially those made in America now includes Mexico and Canada. Canada produced about 35% of American automobile content, yet only put up money for 20% of the bailout money, a was stuck with less overpriced equity in the new car companies created after the bailout, causing the US government to lose a fortune on automobile stocks.
