For those of you unfortunate enough to live in states run by RWNJ teabaggers, there is a federal website to help you sign up for Obamacare.healthcare.gov

Never let a good crisis go to waste, eh Mr. Alinsky, er, I mean Mr. President? Obama must have read “Rules For Radicals” many times… I’ll bet he knows it by heart.

While all the topics Mr. Obama brought up in his speech were important, I also felt that in covering all of them, he lessened the value of all of them. He can access the media anytime he wants and waiting a day or three before talking about republicans, the ACA, and other things could have waited. It’s not the first time he’s disappointed me. That said, my disappointment in the legislature that inspired his over broad comments is exponentially higher. The extremists of both parties are fulfilling Washington’s warning that political parties would divide and weaken the nation. And those of us who use the same divisive words and tactics against our neighbors are just throwing fuel on those divisive flames. Will it take an ACTUAL repeat of the civil war, with Americans killing Americans over policy, in order to make the center and the business leaders take action? There seems to be more guns than common sense, and more cries that we must take action against our gov’t before its too late.Why?Respectfully,C.

I think Obama’s speech was in terribly poor taste. He doesn’t agree with the Republican position on the Economy, Heathcare, etc. I get that. But with people dead and dying you would think he could put away the teleprompter for a night and speak to the victims and the family’s of the victims rather then use them as a bully pulpt.

There seems to be no lmits to the Depravity of this guy. I bet he can’t even imagine why this would offend some of us.

I’m a Saints fan, PAJ. I have to keep hoping we’ll do better in the second half. That said…to quote a cartoon from Tumbleweeds…“I’m too old to cry. I gonna go get drunk.”The hard part is recognizing Mr. Obama’s blame in this without wanting to rationalize it by turning the focus on congress’s part in this, but warranted or not, Congress is NOT stopping Mr. Obama from making real efforts to keep his promises of transparency, or from negotiating in ways that show the American people what he really wants done and get them behind him. I’ve seen other presidents do this, and read of presidents in the past who also were able to bridge the gap.I blame Congress of many of our problems, perhaps most, but sometimes I feel there is no captain at the wheel, and the crew has run amok.Sadly,C.

I can’t believe someone is still reading “death panels” into the legislation that they did not read.

Insurance and doctors have incentive to keep their customers alive, govt bureaucrats couldn’t care less or will even kill out of nothing but prejudice, because they answer to nobody.Insurance companies have incentive to keep you alive, if it’s in their financial interest. Doctors answer to the insurance companies, or they don’t get paid.Claiming that nameless bureaucrats would deny treatment out of prejudice is nonsense. People already have to fight nameless bureaucrats who work for insurance companies. I suspect a government employee who isn’t given bonuses for keeping costs down, would be more responsive.http://www.latimes.com/news/opinion/la-oew-delpriore3jan03,0,5149977.story?coll=la-opinion-centerhttp://seattletimes.com/html/opinion/2009685301_harrop19.html

enoki (among others), lest we forget, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rice, and “W” stacked up several thousand American, and several hundred thousand bodies, because someone “disagreed with them”. For no true cause but THAT!

Still spouting lies and deceit about Obamacare, aren’t you? It reveals that you are either really a shallow thinker and do not seek facts or that you simply accept on face value the sewage coming out of the mouths of the Obama haters. Either way, it marks you as a fool.
