I do agree with Ms. Benson’s cartoon on her seeming observation that there is a lot of paper, but no audible ‘music’ with which to draw in the public. The ACA is a good idea that needs our legislators’ active involvement to repair and improve. Eliminating it would be a terrible thing to do to Americans, but not repairing it is a horribly selfish and partisan act in itself. Why must these parties strive so hard to make the other party look bad that they hurt our nation doing it?Respectfully,C.
If America had health care the same as the rest of the G8 it would not have a deficit. Americans pay 18 percent of their GDP for health care and the rest of the G8 10.5 percent and cover EVERYBODY.
