.Given the international support for the new “Russian” plan to get everyone involved in Syria, not just the U.S., with a plan even Israel will endorse, and given Obama’s long reluctance to support war and military action, and Kerrry’s, is it possible they’ve just very wisely “punk’d” all the chickenhawks and morons?

Let us hope the “community” will not only remove the offending weapons , but back it up with action in the ICC , that organization the US has refused to support in the past.

It’s constant, and has been for years. I don’t read its posts, haven’t for a long time.

No country (including the US) supports little o in his attempts to bomb Syria. His wife won’t even back the amateur. Putin steps up and gets Assad to admit he has chemical weapons and to turn them over. Yet somehow libs think o did something?

Of course the threat of military action did contribute to Putin’s epiphany. Putin does not want Assad weakened nor does he want a thousand tons of poison gas kicking around loose where they could get into the hands of Chechnyan rebels and others. Obama is using T. Roosevelt’s approach of speak softly and carry a big stick. It seems to be working. Unfortunately, the big stick is under threat. This is no time for Congress to weaken the President negotiating position, who by nature would rather negotiate than go to war. (Also Secretary of State)
