I think Ozy just won the “Prisoner’s Dilemma” by trusting his opponent.

Either Ozy is channeling Llewellyn, or the pie is full of birds. Or maybe not.

I’m pretty certain I’ve seen this gag in Bloom County, where they’re pontificating on the inherent evils of cats – and thus dissuade Bill from pulling a similar stunt.

That just became a HUMBLE pie.

I think Ozy was expecting the pie to be thrown at him, and is surprised he got to finish his speech

I suspect he was aware of what Millie was about to do and decided to see if he could change her mind. Well, he is a fox.

The correct missile is chocolate cream. Makes a glorious splut..Oz is staring at the reflection of Mil in the window, and testing his powers of manipulation on her. Rather inferior bonding compared to jumping up and down and shrieking PIE FIGHT and joining in her game.

Or, he has no idea what is really what and he needs a good splut to wake him up.

Deep down Millie is good natured, she just quickly follows her whims of fancy. Ozy has talked her out of that whim, he is her conscious. He’s Millie’s Jiminy Cricket.

if only that worked on every one.
