Terrible tragedy in P2 with the two cheerleaders’ hands engulfed in balls of flame. Then they toss a third girl on the fire in P3 – what a debacle!

Last week I said I was looking forward to the bonfire pep rally Thursday and the game Friday. Bet anyone a steak dinner we don’t see a cameo appearence by Oakwood Coach Tod Andrews, former right hand man of Gil Pa. Speaking of old characters, the AP nerd yesterday looked strangely familiar, like Neal Cray.

I feel for Steve. All that cleaning up he has to do after the bonfire. Not to mention all the smoky soot on his newly cleaned windows.

Yep, there it is in P2-the usual student with the cardboard sign. Has there ever been an event in Milford where a sign didn’t show up?

Jeez, what were they doing in lab yesterday, whipping up a little napalm for that bonfire?

..and everyone wondered why the Pep Band was working on “Ride of the Valkyries” this week…it all became clear as they advanced upon the funereal pyre, so tall that its flames licked the feet of All-Father Odin himself…

Methinks JPuzzle has his tongue just as much in cheek as the rest of us, just taking a different path.

What was Joan of Arc made of? I’m going to guess either some combination of oxygen, hydrogen, carbon, nitrogen, calcium and phosphorous; or sugar and spice and everything nice.

“And as flames climbed high into the nightTo light the sacrificial riteI saw Satan laughing with delight”

Yes, but it’s far more fun to come up with ridiculous interpretations for all things Gil.
