    Been to Volcan Masaya! It’s an awesome sight, you can see there borrows in the side of the crater!!

    Back then it wasn’t really considered morbid. That’s where somebody’s heart and soul was, and they just wanted to be close to it. Bodies in general, weren’t considered morbid like they are today. One of the German generals, I forget his name (had a breakdown in WWI) kept his dead son with him. Wouldn’t send him home to be buried, even apologized to his wife for doing so.

    The parrots have probably adapted to an environment nothing else wants to venture into – thus no predators.
