One of the most misused buzzwords of the decade. The cloud has been around as long as the internet. It is where you hand over your network connection to the provider to connect to a remote side of the internet. No big deal, just became buzz worthy a few years ago by the marketing people.

It’s a “soft feel good word” created to making you feel comfortable with keeping all of your valuable data on some mega server farm God-knows-where. They – not you have complete control. What could possibly go wrong?

For a second there, Barney looked like a cleaned-up version of Joe Btfsplk.

I’m not letting my data anywhere near the cloud(purposely). Not only is there the danger of losing it all, but others could access it.

Has nobody mentioned the pun because nobody saw it, or because it’s too obvious?

    “What pun?”

“Nebulous” means “cloud-like” LITERALLY as well as FIGURATIVELY.
