Going to be a cold one tonight, upper 40s. I’ll bet it will be a lot colder up where you are dkam. Having to turn on the heat in the middle of Sept. is ridiculous.
Good morning Vagabonds..It seems the weather has stalled, or rather a low is stalled out as our weatherman says and is kicking back clouds over our heads. Another way of saying gray days..Now I’m the one headed out to the Doctors office. Just a check up how ever..Hi everybody not here yet..ttfn
Had an absolutely wonderful time at “Mending in the Mountains” this weekend. There were 69 incredible, absolutely positively wonderful women in attendance! Considering that we all have had cancer, or currently in treatment, you will never see a group so incredible! Our keynote speaker is a Chaplin at a cancer center in Seattle, with a really terrific sense of humor. I am exhausted with all the walking and talking and laughing and eating!!!!!
Then, of course, MMM picked me up and we spent the night down at Old Faithful. What a perfect ending for this retreat!Saw several herds of bison, so we know they are pretty healthy and will survive the winter.
Enjoy your rain, guys……….we have a cold snap from the Gulf of Alaska heading our way. Snow maybe tomorrow?
Not much happening this morning. Gotta go to work in a few minutes, but otherwise quiet. Temp is still in the low 70’s and I have all the windows open to the cool breezes.
cool nites here 50’s , 70’s during the day- perfect Fall weather.Going to plant some perennial flower seeds, then winterize the little boat and motor replace the ceiling panels in theliving room, I’ll be busy this week as I prepare the littlecottage for it’s winter nap here on Lake Ontario.
I took my wife to the Orthopedic doctor this morning. He said she was doing fine and that all restrictions were off, just don’t go extreme with doing things and come back in three months. Didn’t think she needed to go to out patient therapy but that it wouldn’t hurt. The P/T thinks she should go for a few visits. I know that I won’t be able to get her to go to the gym with me. She doesn’t like exercising.
