Ripley's Believe It or Not! Fast drawn marksman Jim Miekka of Citrus County, Fla., is totally blind but hits 80% of his targets by using a gunsight that works with sound waves! I'm outta here! The raw heart of a Puffin bird is a traditional delicacy in Iceland. The "cramper van" is a pedal-powered RV with only 4 feet of living space, created by Andy Saunders of Dorget, England.

Those two men are something. As for the puffin heart, I might’ve heard about on the Icelandic episode of Travel Channel’s “Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern.”

The sight is bigger than the gun. So he’s limited to bench shooting. My blind friend’s hobby is ham radio.

From the drawing, Mr. Miekka may be an excellent marksman, but with that rifle he certainly in NOT a fast draw anything.

And there was an article out there about blind people getting gun permits. This should put a crimp in their plans to stop issuing permits. You don’t give up your rights just because you’re “blind”. (there’s different “types” of blind too).
