Both Blatz and Schlitz made the mistake of naming their beers after the sounds and symptoms of the next morning.

I don’t remember many Blatz commercials (Hamms- yes! That was a cute one Bev!

BTW, I forgot to mention over at BS that for quite a while now GoComics has made “refresh” necessary to reply. (I prefer not to use that in any case because as folks scan the page THOSE comments are never visible as “most recent”; I often don’t know there is a new comment until I go “all comments”.

At first I thought this toon showed Cheers (because the guy at left looks like Norm) but the speaker doesn’t look like Cliff. Bartender could be Coach.

DAZZ I agree with you my first thought was was Norm & Coach except the speaker doesn’t look like Cliff.

He had to go home because he had Schlitz in his pants. He was sadder Budweiser.

A Bud in the hand is better than two Busch’s.
