Mark Trail – He’s really got a story now.Phantom – How long ago was that?Judge Parker – That’s reassuring, to know that we need security people to pick us up at the airport.Mandrake – Mo’ Ho Jo’s.

PHANTOM: Does the Skull Cave have dehumidification in order to keep all those old books from getting musty and moldy?JUDGE PARKER: I misread yesterday’s strip and thought they had already arrived in the Acapulco area. Apparently they are still near the cruise port and are staying in a hotel overnight, while they await catching a plane to Acapulco. @davidf42 – I like your comment. APT 3-G: Some commenters at jsonline.com think the Gov has a big ego and wants to be sure that Lu Ann is “arm candy.” Interesting…!

A3G – Margo is right. She knows about this kind of guy.Mandrake – They must have stolen Hojo’s psyche to clone him. Has Mandrake met is match?Funky – The scene interrupted may have been when Lisa told Frankie she was pregnant.

Mark Trail: Did the man get shot in his cabin, and if not, how did he get back there? I don’t see any blood. When did the reporter show up? He doesn’t know Mark? So many questions, so few answers.Mary Worth: ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZRex Morgan: Does the curator expect to call the Doctor’s office and speak to the doctor? Doesn’t happen with mine. Phantom: That didn’t take long to find. He must be good at speed reading.

Funky I think Les’ wife knows where Lisa’s journals are. Look at her eye in the last panel. We’ll soon find out what her “something interesting” was.

Funky: I noticed that last panel and wondered if it was a significant close-up or a TV soap opera close-up. Carla (I think that’s her name) played softball as a girl with someone in the Crankshaft strip in a previous cross-over.

REX MORGAN: A stress test consists of more than just taking a patient’s blood pressure. It reveals nothing about what’s ailing Milton.

MARY WORTH: Elinor has come 180 degrees around. If only real life were that way.

Judge Parker – Hardware. That means guns and ammunition.Rex Morgan – I agree with Sarah. That was too easy.

Rex Morgan – I agree with David and Sarah. That was too easy. In last panel, he’s loosening his tie. Does that mean he’s suffering some distress again?Mary Worth – Sarah’s right. That was too easy.Judge Parker – If they’re going to get underway in a few minutes, why are they unpacking? Oh, I guess they haven’t actually left the U.S. and are still cruising to Puerto Vallarta.Mandrake – They’re in costume and no one pays much attention. The captain assumes the firearms are fake.

Rex Morgan: It looks like Milton is going to have a heart attack and end up in the hospital. Now maybe they will find out what’s wrong with him. I agree with Sarah that it was too easy. Now she will go through life thinking everything is easy.Mary Worth: That was a fast change in attitude by Elinor. As we said in Rex, that was too easy. Now, are they going to all live together or is Elinor going to start a new life for herself? Mary had it easy this time, it only took one talk.Phantom: Does everyone on the cruise wear the same costume all the time or do we have one for each day?

JP They can sure afford better accommodations than I can. Our next cruise will be at approximately water level with a small porthole, but then who spends any more time in their cabin than they have to? Why pay extra for a room you’ll almost never see except to sleep, shower and change clothes? (I am not going on a “working” vacation like the Judge is.)

Mary Looks like Elinor had the change of heart that we predicted here. You will notice that her face no longer looks like a prune.
