This does look different from any previous cut, doesn’t it? This one’s the most boyish so far. I remember that fad for short, somewhat choppy cuts. Looked great on some, but I think Emmy Lou looks much cuter in softer hair styles. :)
It seems funny to be discussing the hairstyle of a comic-strip character, and yet Marty drew Emmy Lou so consistently that there really is a difference in her look when her hair changes!

Emmy Lou needs to be a match maker. Taffy is much better for Dink than the other girl is.
