I had a bike stolen once. It had a flat tire so I put it up against the back of the house until I or my dad could get to it so I didn’t even realize it was stolen for several days. About a week later we found it behind a factory about a block from our house where the thief had apparently ditched it when he realized the tire was flat.
Last year there was a very nice looking bike that was left behind some bushes in our front yard. It sat for two days before I reported it to the police…I just hope it found its way back to the owner.
