it is good that she is seeing where the vegetables really come from, now let her share in the cooking process and she will appreciate them more…….hopefully.
My grandparents never had a fence, they said just mix hot peppers in the soil and the rabbits won’t touch them. Apparently rabbits don’t like spicey things.

The tomatoes are safe, but that lettuce would be eaten by rabbits before getting half that big without a fence around it.

My Dad used to grow tomatoes, strawberries and pumpkins, and I think maybe green beans. We tried lettuce, but I don’t recall if that was successful.
