FYI….Tax evasion is against the law Matt. Tax avoidance is what everybody should do. Unless, that is, if you are one of the lefties that post here about how taxes should be higher. In that case, they should overpay what they legally owe. Of course they don’t though.
You think Apple’s accounting is interesting, try GE’s, they pay NO tax at all, in fact they’ve accumulated BILLIONS in tax credits by restructuring almost all transactions as finance deals.
Overlooked by the right is the fact the Apple CEO did declare everything the did was legal, and that tax law should change to END the practices of not paying taxes. They’re also working at bringing more jobs, and sections of their company, BACK to the U.S.. Boeing, Lockheed, GE, and Textron could take a lesson from this, along with many U.S. corporations, and of course “Mitt’s millions” remain untaxed overseas as well.
Gorebane: That “tithe” they give to the Mormons helped pay for the defeat of Prop 8 inCalifornia. It’s disgusting that “churches” want to have separation until it comes to what THEY believe! If we’re a “Christian” nation, whose Christianity, since many fundamentalist “Christians” believe Catholics and Mormons are NOT Christian, at leat until they need their $!

Stuff it harley! EVERYONE who says we need a “fair” tax is just rewording the “flat” tax to make it sound more appealing to the sheeple.

What is good for Apple and corporate America is not very good for the country as a whole. At one time this may have been the case but not any more.
