The J.A.M. .. if the chick WAS grey, few, including myself, would easily “get” the joke. I think this is called “artistic license” or something…
Then, again, birds wouldn’t know the difference. I had a friend that put duck eggs under a chicken. The old biddy raised them as her own. She got a mite flustered when they first went swimming, but she got used to it.
