And I know it’s irrelevant…. but Dr. Wachtel in Alameda CA was my grandparent’s doctor for maybe 40 years…he even delivered my brother.20 years later, my grandmother dragged me to see him when she didn’t trust the university health center.
Just checked and alligator meat is about $20 a pound on-line. The last I got about 30 years ago was around $5. Made alligator sauce piquante one time. Pretty good eating.
