MARY WORTH: Tom wants to bring their relationship to another level by informing Beth;s mother, but Beth is fine with the way things are – is she afraid to inform her mother?
MARY WORTH: @Arye. I think the answer to you question is YES – Beth is afraid her mother will do something to spoil her relationship with Tom.REX MORGAN: @Arye: …and Rex continues to be taken aback by June’s Focus on Food.JUDGE PARKER: The plot thickens (i.e., the wedding-in-Mexico plot).
Judge Parker – When did April say her father waas dead? When they first met (which means she lied) or has he died recently? If the first option, why didn’t someone say, “I thought your father was dead” immediately on hearing the weddig plans?Phantom = We learn the reason for the cruise.
Prince Valiant: I am new to this strip. I was wondering why Gawain (who, in the Arthurian legend was the only man innocent and pure enough to find the holy grail) was turned into a debauched skirt chaser?Rex: June claims to be the best judge of her actions, then goes on to prove she’s not the best judge of anything.Mary: Arye, I agree with Florchi. Beth is very much afraid of what her mother will say and do about her relationship with Ted. I still think they should elope and then tell Elinor.JP: Between Alan’s conversation about marriage with Sam a couple of weeks back and Katherine’s and his deteriorating attitudes, I think a Parker divorce is in the offing.
David, I just looked it up. I had Gawain confused with Galahad. Lancelot was Galahad’s father (the mother was Elaine of Corbanic) which made him ineligible for the holy grail quest. Galahad is the that found it. There were two other knights that were with him, Sir Bors and Sir Perceval. Sir Bors left before the other two found the location of the grail, but Galahad was the only one allowed to see it.
