    In 1970 Richie released the album “Alarm Clock” which included a cover of “Here Comes the Sun”.

    I think this was the lead off act at Woodstock. This was one of the songs he did. It’s considered by those of a certain age to be his signature song.

    …and it’s all right…...Liked his version so much better and yes he was the lead act, because the other bands and equipment were stuck in traffic. He played for 3 hours.

    Heard him on a replay of an NPR interview in remembrance of his passing. He played a GREAT version of All Along the Watch Tower!
