It was not passed “in the middle of the night.” I was awake when it happened, after three months of getting Republican input. I am very much looking forward to Obamacare, since it will save vast numbers of lives, will save me a lot of money, and has already started reducing health care costs in America. Got an alternative, Harley? Remember that Obamacare IS the conservative alternative to single-payer Medicare for all, which would have saved a LOT more money and works much more efficiently.

Looked at our baby DHS lately? Just a few years old and what a big boy!!!

Care to debate whether anyone read the bill forming it before it was voted on? Do you really think anyone read the Patriot Act before voting on it?

Here’s an idea that should appeal to many of our regular posters: Eliminate Obamacare. Require everyone to have a physical once a year. Have insurance companies’ “medical directors” evaluate each person, just as they do before they accept you/deny you. If you get accepted, you get to live. If not, they have these events where everyone gets to shoot up old cars and other targets; fun for the whole family!

No need to waste those old cars or anything. Use the old and the sick.

Everybody wins. Gun owners get to kill with impunity. No more paying for people to get better; think of the money we’ll save. Plus, it will improve the gene pool, since those who survive will be healthier. Even the abortion issue will be clarified: if there is a pregnancy that will result in harm to the mother, just shoot her. No abortion necessary.

Anyone have any better ideas? Or are you just willing to ignore the problem as long as you “don’t have to pay anything”?

Single payer is the only answer. Everything else is a stop along the way.

Obamacare reigns in insurance idiocy, but perpetuates its existence.

Yes, shooting people who are old and sick is Nazi-like; the master race and all that. Nice that you’ve noticed. And I have a pretty good idea that a lot of posters would be happy to adopt the idea.

I try to learn from the master: Neo-Con Man.

Horrible! If poor people have medical care they will live longer! A communist revolution in the making. And then there’s the curbs on how much “health providers” can gouge the taxpayers! Another communist revolution!!

A sound plan to save us from rising health care costs. Complete lie.

I’ve already benefited from it. And I am very happy about it. I hope that people can see from all sides and appreciate that it actually helps. Thank you OBAMA!

This would not be a surprise if you had actually bothered to study the original plan. Considering how many conservatives kept wailing that nobody had read the law, they’re remarkably ignorant about it themselves.

Relax. It’s in the plan and has been from the start. You didn’t have to be a genius to know that — you just had to be literate.
