Dogs can be taught to walk properly, and should be. After all, humans are the higher specie, not dogs. But when I see a dog walking its owner, I lose all hope for humanity. My 85 pound collie walks WITH me not I with him.

My problem is the opposite. My old, chubby dog will not allow the old, chubby owner to walk her. We both sit down and enjoy the scenery!!!

Weird, half the Pluggers are dogs, the other half keep them as pets.
