Go Comics changed the Icon from Walt to Rufus. I wonder why!

Joel instead of Walt on the avatar: alas, the torch has been passed. If nothing else, it’s truth in advertising.

Joel needs to join the choir instead of Rufus. I suspect Joel’s voice would be a bit more gravely texture and probably would round out the deep end of the vocal spectrum.

Well, the icon is actually Joel (not Rufus), but that’s not a major error. Does anyone here know who makes a decision like that? There’s probably nothing to it, but there could be something pretty significant to it.

Could be they just switch icons/avatars out once in a while and someone just stuck something in. On the other hand, JS may have decided that he prefers writing Joel & Rufus to Slim & Clovia and has let it be known. What ’cha think?

Every church that I’ve ever entered, expected the men to remove their hats.

Joel on the icon. That, as they say, is that. Walt is gone, the classic days of the strip are gone, and as of today, I have one less comic to read. Goodbye, GA. it was fun while it lasted.

If this strip continues to follow Rufus and Joel, it won’t be long before I’m gone too.
