As much as I dislike Obama, the GOP controlled both the Senate, House of Representatives, and the Presidency and nothing got better, it got worse just like under Obama. I doubt we’ll get a chance to vote for Ron Paul again, but hopefully Gary Johnson will run again.

So how do you propose we fix 70,000+ bridges and all the roads that are currently in shambles? Major national construction projects brought us the TVA and Hoover Dam, and can help a LOT with local and national economies.-So, of course, the Republicans will be against it because it might end up making Obama look good.

This says it all. Politicians garner favor with Babyboomer voters by spending the money their Grandchildren and unborn Greatgrandchildren will earn because those children can’t vote.

Here’s a thought. Tell those babyboomers that they can’t have everything they want because they aren’t willing to pay for it. Man up and say this is the tax rate you all will have to pay if you want all those free goodies from the government and then you will hear screams of “We earned it” and “We deserve it”.

Too many non-citizens are voting and I’m not talking about immigrants. I’m talking about people who will gladly take all the goodies they can get from goverment but then turn out their pockets when it comes time to pay taxes or contribute meaningfully to the country.

We need to bring back the shame associated with being dependent on the government. All those people sitting on the couch collecting unemployment, SSDI, food stamps, they aren’t self sufficient anymore. If the government is taking care of them they shouldn’t be allowed to vote how much money the government gives them. Especially when it’s being taken out of the paychecks of kids who aren’t allowed to vote.

Obama spoke many lies in the SOTU, but the most idiotic lie was “none of my proposals will add ONE DIME to the deficit”!-2/14/13 www.breitbart.com article by William Bigelow, with documentation, on 5 major items the president called for.-Green Energy…Obama already spent $7 Billion and those 34 companies are bankrupt or failing.-Carbon Emissions…estimated cost, 4% of the GDP which was $13.65 Trillion; 4% would be $546 Billion, just from regulations.-Roads & Bridges; 2009 estimate by the Federal Highway administration=$70.9 Billion. (the article doesn’t say this, but we already pay a high federal tax on every gallon of vehicle fuel….a hidden cost on most gas pumps…and the tax is supposed to fund road & bridge upkeep/replacements, but the Feds spend that very large annual revenue total on “other stuff”….-The final 2 items are in the article at the url I posted above.Obama proposes FAR MORE THAN A DIME for Americans to pay for!

The USA has the highest Gini Coefficient in the G8. That means that the one percent “have mores” get a bigger share of the pie than anywhere else in the developed world.
