This strip may be very modern, but not today. Sadly libraries these days are not even quiet even inside.
Not only do I remember them, I remember going to school on all of them except Memorial Day because school was over for the year by then.
to me…this is classic Nancy!
In libraries I’ve frequented, silence is nonexitstant. Kids are all running around yelling, there’s music playing in the kids area and librarians read to the kids. And say, is that Sluggo’s dad in that car?

How come I have to go to work on Groundhog Day? That’s OK, I et a sausage and biscuit sandwich to celebrate it anyway.
