Looks like Nelson is wearing the same type ofhelmet that Lance Armstrong used to wear.

Can a person Nelson’s age afford lead? (Hi, everyone, “backwards MORMON” here. Sorry I’ve absent for a about week. My profile went screwy somehow. So “templo SUD” my new GoComics name from now on.)

Maybe Lance Armstrong thought he could get away with all the stuff he did because no one could read his mind with his bike helmet on.

Let’s face it, a tin foil lining would be far cheaper, and lighter. Earl’s on a fixed income after all.

This cartoon reminds me of the Twilight Zone episode “It’s a Good Life”, starring Bill Mumy.(From Wikipedia): “It’s a Good Life” is an episode of the American television anthology series The Twilight Zone. It is based on the 1953 short story “It’s a Good Life” by Jerome Bixby and is considered by many, such as Time Magazine and TV Guide, to be one of the best episodes of the series.

I remember working at a car battery plant in commerce, calif. Most of the old timers there had to wear breathing masks. most were very skinny and their skin had a greyish cast. I would say that lead poisoning is more common than you thought.

No, no. Use tin foil. The Fox ‘news’ watchers swear by that.
