We were all so worried and it was such a total non-event. Still, it gave “experts” and news commentators something to talk about for weeks beforehand.

I remember seeing on TV the folks who sold their homes and moved to “compounds” in the country. I was thinking about them during the 2020 pandemic lock downs. I’m thinking they had the right idea, just the wrong bug.

Actually computers are much less obnoxious than people. They are logical and only do what they are programmed to do. So these three are probably projecting their own behavior onto the poor computer. So, Cathy, try not to go berserk in the wee hours of the morning! ;-)

Hello, Cathy friends! Happy Friday and I hope everyone has a safe and happy New Years Eve! See you next year!

Although the ‘party’ does not seem like much fun they are at least wearing party hats.

Slight change of plans this afternoon. A snow flurry with a low ceiling grounded the helicopter so it could not make it around the bay earlier this afternoon. However, after I let the fire die out and was just heading back into the house I heard it approaching. I got down to the beach and waved to all of you as it went by. Warming up now and getting ready to set out the fireworks for 8:00pm.

I hope everyone else has a fun day too.

Yup—a ton of hype for a mostly non-eventful technological transition into the 2000s, thankfully. I wasn’t sure what to expect, myself, but at least all went smoothly.

HI, MOM. Happy New Year, “Cathy” Clan.
