Irving: Bills... Cathy: Bills... Vivian: Squirrels... Electra: Treats! Irving: You don't know what it's like for me to have to constantly worry about the future of my job. Cathy: Yes, I do. It's just the same for me. Irving: You don't know what it's like for ME! Cathy: I know exactly what it's like for you because it's exactly like that for me! Irving: You don't know what it's like for me to have to listen to you say you DO know what it's life for me because you DON'T know what it's like for me!! Cathy: Oh, poor baby, no one in the world but you will ever have any idea what THAT feels like! Irving: ...Really?? You agree? Cathy: Sometimes there's nothing more comforting than being reassured we're all alone. Irving: Thanks! I feel better.

I don’t ever leave someone feeling alone. They do seem to not feel when I am feeling alone. I need new people.

Love how the dogs are trying to get away from the coming ‘discussion’. When people tell me they know how I feel I know they don’t really but it is comforting to know they are willing to understand and have probably gone though the same event in their lives.
A beautiful September Saturday today. Warm enough to wash the irrigation hoses and start packing them away for the winter. Enjoy this beautiful day.
