COOKIE JAR ECONOMICS Man: Last year there were too many great big greedy hands in the global financial cookie jar and it broke! Millions of little hands helped fix the cookie jar and fill it back up with cookies...but before the little hands could get any cookies, the big hands were back in there grabbing them all! Refreshments? Sometimes we educate. Sometimes it's kinder to merely redirect.

Okay. Subliminal stuff works. I need to go attack that half bag of Sausalito cookies I have hidden. …nefarious, but delicious.

That was a pretty accurate explanation of what happened, given only two sentences and two panels . I just don’t understand why when Cathy and Irving chow down on something, they eat like animals, face first. It would be less disconcerting to have them shoving piles of cookies into their mouths with their hands. Please pass the cookies, vaughnrl2003!
Hello Cathy friends! Happy Wednesday! It is vaccine week in my house. My husband got his second shot yesterday, and is in bed recovering. Jr gets her first shot today, and I get my second shot tomorrow. Poor Lil has to wait until she turns 16. Have a great cookie-filled day, all!

This is an example why this couple are still together. They are both so much alike!

Cookies beats economics (and filling out tax returns) hands down – or in the case of Cathy and Irving, faces down.
I am a little late today – my stupid computer decided to spend most of its time handling interrupts and not doing anything. Reboot took several hours. Still hangs for short periods every now and again. Definitely something going on that is not good – my playlists are gone and my local settings for our bug tracking software are gone as well. It was fun trying to remember the queries that were set up over a year ago. I suppose I could have recovered from backup but that would have meant installing the clone drive – and I did not want to chance rebooting again today. I have comics to read after all. Not all bad though, I did get an extra half hour massage today so was nice and relaxed to handle the computer issues.
I hope your day went better than mine.

For this one, I’ll just say …
“COOOOKIE!”
… and do my Cookie Monster impression. (NUM, NUM, NUM.) [smile]
HI, MOM. Hello, “Cathy” Clan.
