I’m a big fan of trench coats. I just wish they came with hoods. Though, I hear many hoods come with trench coats. …odd, that.

A trench coat to hide your “fashion faux pas” is all well and good, Cathy ….. until you go somewhere and have to take it off! Then what? Just save yourself the time, money (not to mention the embarrassment!) by making better, smarter clothing choices to begin with — especially since you just got done saying (yesterday) that you were looking for new, “non-flirty” office attire — rather than all of the hideous ones mentioned here by the saleslady.

The trench coat has gained someone of a bad rep over the years. It is the preferred attire for spies (not those in the James Bond class though) PI’s, guys selling ‘good bargains’ from the inner pockets, and guys who quickly open it to show they . . .In spite of all that I did wear a trench coat for many years.
It has been a good weekend here so far. I hope yours is going well too.

And if the trench coat is just going to cover other clothes, why bother looking for top-of-the-line ones to be covered up? I know it’s just a comic, but … another [eye-roll] here, too.
