Charlene:...So there we were...the middle of nowhere......day four of a tenday trip...with a full memory card and a frozen laptop! Mr. Pinkley and blonde man: OH, NO! Charlene: My husband got on cell to find a place that could transfer files to CD...but we were NOWHERE! You couldn't even BUY more digital memory! Men: What did you do?! What did you do?! Charlene: It took 36 hours, but we finally got a PDA wireless web navigation connect to a mini-mart two counties over that could download and e-mail our vacation photos home! Men: WOW! BRAVO! WHAT AN ADVENTURE! Woman in pink: We saw Paris. Charlene, Mr. Pinkley and Blonde man: Yawn.

Cyberspace vacations are adventures like no others. You can go everywhere without going anywhere and spend all your time saving time.

They couldn’t just buy another memory card? Granted, that eliminates the “adventure”, but honestly I’d rather spend my vacation sight-seeing rather than frantically freeing up memory space.

Seeing Paris is not exciting – unless you are the one seeing. Experiencing electronic issues is something that many can now relate to – even if they have never been to Paris.
Friday again. They seem to be arriving more frequently lately. Happy long weekend for my fellow Canadians – if you live in a province that recognizes the Civic Holiday.
